Estimated Actual Metabolic Rate
Once you've determined your BMR you can then use the Harris Benedict formula to determine your estimated actual calorie burn rate each day. This formula multipliers your BMR by a multiplier based on your daily activity levels. These multipliers are:- 1.2 - Sedentary - Office/Desk job with little or no activity.
- 1.375 - Lightly Active - Light exercise or sports 1-3 days a week.
- 1.55 - Moderately Active - Moderate exercise or sports 3-5 days a week.
- 1.725 - Very Active - Hard exercise or sports 6-7 days a week.
- 1.9 - Extra Active - Very hard daily exercise or sports and a physical job.
